Lavender Butter Cake

2 cups self raising flour

170 g softened butter

2/3 cup caster sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla

3 eggs

2/3 cup milk

2 teaspoons Culinary Lavender

Preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease and line a 22 cm round cake pan. Sift flour. In separate bowl beat butter, sugar, vanilla and Culinary Lavender until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix until combined. Fold in sifted flour and milk alternately. Mix all ingredients until combined and spoon into cake pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes.
